InterGrain is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Marsland as the new northern WA Territory Manager.
In his role, Richard will use his experience and knowledge of the region to oversee sales, marketing, and technical support for InterGrain’s portfolio of wheat, barley, and oat varieties.
“I am thrilled to be joining the InterGrain team. It’s a great time to start with InterGrain as trial results are coming in from last season and breeding selections are being made. I’m looking forward to developing new relationships in this role and assisting growers in choosing the right varieties for their farming systems,” said Richard.
“I am excited to further understand the role innovative plant breeding can play in driving productivity and profitability for growers and looking forward to supporting growers in the northern wheatbelt with well adapted varieties.”
InterGrain Chief Marketing Officer Nicole Kerr said “We are excited for Richard to join our marketing team to help promote our strong product offering across all grain growing regions of Australia.”
“Richard brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the role, coming from a farming background in the UK then completing a degree in agriculture at Harper Adams University. Richard came to Australia in 2004 and spent time as an agronomist with Nutrien (formally Landmark) and most recently overseeing a broadacre cropping operation in Mingenew, WA.”
Richard will be based in the Midwest region and will work closely with the InterGrain team to promote the company’s portfolio of wheat, barley and oat varieties to growers and advisors in the northern and eastern wheatbelt.
