InterGrain is pleased to welcome two new Territory Managers to the marketing team with Adrian Carter covering Victoria and Alan Wright covering southern New South Wales. Both Alan and Adrian bring a wealth of experience in the agricultural industry, having worked within the plant breeding sector and a deep understanding of the needs of growers.
“We are delighted to welcome Adrian and Alan to InterGrain,” said Nicole Kerr, Chief Marketing Officer.
“Adrian comes with strong grains industry connections and an understanding of Victorian farming systems which will greatly assist in promoting the productivity gains available from our new and existing wheat, barley and oat varieties.”
Adrian studied at the University of Adelaide and has previously worked across numerous roles in the pasture seed industry and as a retail agronomist.
More recently, Adrian worked for a canola breeding company promoting varieties and agronomic practices for canola growers.
In his new role, Adrian will be based at Horsham and will work closely with the InterGrain team to promote the company’s portfolio of wheat, barley and oat varieties to growers and advisors across Victoria.
Alan Wright studied at Dookie campus of Melbourne University and has extensive experience within the agricultural industry. Alan most recently worked as an Area Manager for a seed company where he worked with growers, resellers and agronomists providing technical advice on the best fit for varieties, varietal choices, crop management as well as managing seed distribution.
“Alan’s extensive network within the grains industry, coupled with his understanding of South Eastern Australian farming systems will be invaluable in promoting the agronomic benefits of our new and established wheat, barley, and oat varieties for southern NSW farming growers,” said Nicole Kerr.
“I am excited to join InterGrain and contribute to the company’s continued success. I’m looking forward to building on the relationships I’ve established across the industry and working with the team at InterGrain to provide strong agronomic varieties for southern NSW growers,” said Alan.
Alan and Adrian’s appointment reinforces InterGrain’s long-term commitment to cereal breeding across Victoria and southern NSW by providing growers and advisors with greater access to varietal information on the most suitable, stable and highly productive cereal varieties.
