About this Career

We are recruiting a Territory Manager based in Western Australia (maternity leave cover) to join a well-established marketing team and grow the footprint of InterGrain varieties. This is an opportunity to work with a world class plant breeding company to deliver high quality and high yielding verities for grain growers.


  • As Territory Manager, you will work closely with the InterGrain marketing team and be responsible for sales and marketing activities across the region to increase brand awareness and variety adoption.
  • You will utilise your passion and technical knowledge of the agriculture industry to build relationships with growers, distribution partners, consultants, agronomists and other industry stakeholders.
  • As a marketing team member, you will provide strategic and regional expertise to influence breeding and marketing activities.
  • You will identify and develop partnership and sponsorship opportunities to increase brand awareness.
  • As Territory Manager you will foster strong relationships with our Seedclub members who are critical in producing seed of our varieties.


  • Passion and experience within the Australian grains industry, with strong agronomy and cereal supply chain knowledge.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships at multiple levels within Western Australia.
  • A strategic approach to assess, analyse and report accurate market intelligence to support sales and marketing strategies.
  • An organised approach to building and managing a territory.
  • Experience in the extension of research and/or plant breeding to growers and industry stakeholders
  • Tertiary qualifications in agricultural science (or equivalent) or 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Commercial experience in agricultural sales is a bonus.
  • Comfort working in an autonomous position.
  • Australian citizenship or permanent resident status.
  • Current driver’s license.
