SOUTHERN NOODLE WHEAT TRIALS SHOW PROMISE
Leading cereal breeding company InterGrain is very pleased to announce that Bill Greenslade has joined the business in the role of Eastern States Territory Manager, covering South Australia and Southern NSW, having previously worked with Pioneer as a promoter agent.
InterGrain Marketing Manager Ash Brooks said, “We are delighted to have Bill on board, his agronomy experience, extensive grains industry knowledge and understanding of the key on-farm business drivers will be a valuable asset to InterGrain.”
“We are excited to be expanding our territory manager team to further promote our strong product offering across all grain growing regions of Australia”.
In accepting the position Bill said, “I’m really looking forward to the new challenge, working with advisors and getting on farm with growers to assist them with choosing the right varieties for their farming systems.”
“It’s a particularly exciting time to join the InterGrain business. The company has a bright future, with the international partnerships with Monsanto and Syngenta formed, along with a very exciting product range including wheat varieties Emu Rock and Cosmick, complemented by barley varieties such as La Trobe and a new soon to be released IMI line. All of which have a good fit in Eastern Australian growers programs.”
Based in Bordertown, Bill has always had a strong interest in agriculture. After growing up on the family farm and working on the farm after leaving school, Bill then moved on to an opportunity to work in the South Australian fertilizer industry in a variety of roles which included successfully owning and operating his own business, Yorke Fertilisers in Maitland.
Bill completed his Bachelor of Farm Management through the University of Sydney in 2001 and has most recently worked in management positions within ABB Grain and Viterra in South East South Australia.
Bill’s appointment reinforces InterGrain’s long-term commitment to cereal breeding in Australia by providing growers with access to reliable, stable and highly productive cereal varieties.
