InterGrain Wheat Breeding Programs

 

InterGrain has structured its wheat breeding into five different breeding programs to provide a balanced approach to its national wheat breeding for the diverse Australian environments. Four of the programs are agro-climatically and quality focussed, the fifth program is a specialist program aimed at fast tracking genetic introgression of important genetic characters into the other breeding programs.

 

 The five programs are:-

1.WA North and Central - Iain Barclay, Dan Mullan
2.WA South and South Australia - Chris Moore
3.Victoria and NSW - Robin Wilson
4.Udon noodles - Robyn McLean
5.Specialist initiatives - Robyn McLean
